About Artist

Hello!

My name is Rebecca Cawthorne Boyer and I am a skater, printmaker & illustrator from Augusta, Georgia. 

 I have a BA in Art from Georgia State University.

I started printmaking in 2023 as a lino cut artist. I have tried many forms of mediums from painting, fiber arts to tattooing but found printmaking is perfect for my art style. I have plans to start screen printing and wood block carving! I also am excited to experiment on more mediums such as apparel, handmade accessories and skateboards!

I grew up playing soccer but after many years I got burnt out on the sport. I always wanted to find a solo sport but it took me several years to find skating. I started rollerskating in 2020 and it quickly became a center point for my life and creative process. After 6 months of foundational skating I took myself to the skatepark and there was nothing I wanted to do more. I found my passion. I have so much joy sharing my skating & art with everyone!
